4.19.24 Meetup guest speakers: Zach Vinson, Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant

Zach works with Interim Healthcare as licensed Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant for Greenville, Spartanburg, and Cherokee counties.  

A native of Florence, SC, Zach earned a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science with a minor in Psychology from the University of South Carolina-Columbia and an Associate of Applied Science in Physical Therapy from Orangeburg-Calhoun Technical College. After earning his license Zach moved to the Upstate and spent several years working with Carolina Orthopedic and Neurosurgical Associates, specializing in post-surgical orthopedic rehab, work hardening, and sports rehab. Seeking a new challenge, Zach joined Interim Healthcare in 2023.

Over the years Zach had been able to combine his love for travel and medicine serving on medical mission trips to Haiti and Peru. Described as an adrenaline junkie he has been skydiving, hang gliding, sand boarding, and flown a small airplane within the last year. Also, Zach is a “foodie” and enjoys trying new and strange foods, some of the most noteworthy being guinea pig, cow heart, yak, and ostrich. In his spare time, Zach is a co-host of the “Don’t Mind Me Podcast” alongside his girlfriend, Anna. He attends Brushy Creek Baptist Church where he serves as a LifeGroup leader and a deacon. Some of his other hobbies include fishing, kayaking, disc golf, swing dancing, and contra dancing.
