1.6.23 Meetup guest speaker: Marna Costanzo, Furman professor, Greenville Hurricanes Track & Field coach

Marna Costanzo is a wife and mother of six, who teaches as an adjunct professor in the biological sciences at Furman University.

She received her bachelor’s and doctoral degrees in Biology at Harvard University, and her Master’s in Zoology at the University of Pretoria in South Africa where she studied the charismatic African mole-rat. Growing up in South Africa, she ran track from a very young age and competed on the South African junior and senior national teams.

Her lifelong love of track and field lead to becoming the current coach of the Greenville Hurricanes track team and pursuing a USATF coaching certification.
